Review of the Classifications

The current versions of PSANZ-Perinatal Death Classification (PSANZ-PDC) and PSANZ Neonatal Death Classification (PSANZ-NDC) are dated November 2004. The classifications and the Guide for Use are now included in Section 7 of the Perinatal Mortality Audit Guideline. For further information please contact a member of the PNM Steering group.

The PSANZ Guideline for Perinatal Mortality Audit is now available for use.

The guidelines and classifications are currently being updated. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this update.

Classification of Postneonatal Deaths

The PMG has set up a Working Party to consider the development of a classification for postneonatal deaths. For further details please contact Annabelle Chan.
